(Venezia 1875 - Settimo 1958)

Mentre lavorava in una sartoria venne ascoltata cantare da un artista impegnato in una stagione cittadina ed incoraggiata a studiare canto. Nel 1895 avvenne il debutto al Politeama di Marsala nella Gioconda con il nome di Aurora Francini ma fu con il suo vero nome che si affermò. Nel 1912 si recò negli Stati Uniti invitata da un conoscente che lavorava al Metropolitan di New York ma non è stata rinvenuta alcuna notizia relativa alla sua attività artistica in quel teatro.

While working in a tailor was heard singing by an artist engaged in a theatre of the town and encouraged her to study singing. In 1895 came the debut at Politeama of Marsala in Gioconda with the name of Aurora Francini but it was with her real name which she was known . In 1912 she went to the U.S. invited by an acquaintance who worked at the Metropolitan in New York but has not found any information on her artistic activity in that theatre.
